Kate Vilmont
I want to tell you about Kate Vilmont. She is my favorite writer.
Kate Vilmont was born on the 24th of April in 1946.Now she is 66 years old. She was born in a family of famous interpreters. For thirty years, Kate worked on translating stories and texts from German. In 1995 she wrote her first book.  Four series were filmed after her books .
Kate Vilmont likes to travel. Many of the places, which were described in her novels, were taken from her life. Kate loves cats. She runs a charity for cats. At home, she has three cats, and about 10 cats are in her country house.
Now Kate writes not only novels for adults but and detective novels for children. To tell the truth I don’t have much free time nowadays. Nevertheless I try to read as much as I can, because I understand that books help me to enrich my experience, to continue my own education  and of course they help me to relax.
As I have read only detectives for children by Kate Vilmont, I can tell you about them. These novels tell us about modern teenagers, which find thieves, open up the crime and heip the police. I am sure that it is very amusing to read such books. They are fast-moving, exciting and easy to read. My favorite books are ,,Where is the father?,, The secret of the grandmother’s collection,, ,, It is difficult to be brave,, ,, The secret of an empty flat,, ,, A false father,, and others.
That’s why I'd like to recommend Kate Vilmont’s books.

Everybody knows, that this woman is an auther of a very wonderful story about a boy with a scar on the forehead. Of course, it's Joan Kipling Rolling.
She was born in England in a big family. She has a younger sister. The names of her family's members she gave her characters in her book about Harry Potter.
Her books impress very much, arouse a lot of positive emotions, make you think. It's a very enjoyable, entertaining, original and  exciting book. Every character in this book is very interesting because all of these characters are true to life.
When she wanted to publish her first book about Harry, all publishers refusedt. And only one small publishing company agreed to print her book and after that Rolling became very popular in a stroke.
And now J.K. Rolling writes books. She prefer adventure novels, detective stories and fairy-tales.
But her book about a boy with a scar will never be forgotten.

I can’t help saying about  favourite writers because I'm not a fan of reading. I had to make the acquaintance of Mikhail Yurievich Lermontov. He is one of the most famous Russian authors of the 19th century.
His life was momentary and blinding as a gleam of lightning in a stormy sky.
Not having lived till 27 years old, he passed the entire circle of life with flights of inspiration and bitterness of disappointments. He went through many troubles in his life: great success and two exiles, disappointments and love, smoke of battles and intrigues of a high society.. And died in thunderstorm… This is the entire circle.
Just two latest figures changed their places in the dates of his life. But how many emotions were experienced by him and what antagonism of ideas existed in his mind and soul!
I like novels, stories and poems by Mikhail Lermontov very much. Needless to say that the most part of the poems and almost all novels and stories are full of melancholy – this is the particularity of his works.Lermontov never wrote non-fiction. All his compositions are made-up but a great part of them is connected with real events of the 19th and other centuries. There is no humor in his works, they are deep and full of the author’s thoughts. They reflect the problems of the society and make us think. That is why I like them very much and enjoy every minute, reading books by Mikhail Yurievich Lermontov.

I want to tell you about Jack London.
John Griffith "Jack" London was born on 12 January 1876 in San Francisco. His mother, Flora Wellman, lived in Ohio but then moved to San Francisco where she worked as a music teacher. Some biographers suppose that Jack London’s father was William Chaney who lived with Flora Wellman in San Francisco.
In 1889 he started working at Hickmott’s Cannery. His working day lasted from 12 to 18 hours. After a while he came to Oakland and entered Oakland High School where he started writing articles for the school’s magazine, The Aegis. The first work of London was “Typhoon off the Coast of Japan” in which he described his sailing experiences.
In 1896 Jack London entered the University of California, Berkeley but because of financial difficulties he left the university in a year.
From 1898 Jack London started working intentionally to publish his writings. The first published work was “To the Man on Trail”.
Jack London’s first marriage was in 1900. He married Elizabeth “Bessie” Maddern with whom he had two children: Joan and Bessie.
Jack London died November 22, 1916.
I think people should read books by London because they are ....(используй прилагательные )

I can’t say about  favourite writers because I'm not a great fan of reading. I like reading, but not so much. I want to say some words about Agatha Christie.
According to Agatha Christie herself, she began to write just to imitate her sister whose stories had already been published in magazines.
Having lost her father at an early age, writer didn't receive good education. During the First World War she was a nurse, then she studied pharmacology. Twenty years later she worked in a military hospital at the beginning of the Second World War.
She wrote many-many detective stories. Her stories are great!
Everyone is suspected in her stories! Kills in the books of Agatha Christie are committed in most unsuitable places: in the vicar's garden or in an old abbey; bodies are found in someone's libraries being killed with the help of tropical fishes, a poker, a candelabra, a dagger or poison.
Once Agatha Christie wrote: "Some ten years will pass after my death, and nobody will even remember me...". The writer was mistaken.
Agatha Christie's novels are very popular now. People of all continents read "The Oriental Express", "Ten Little Negroes", "The Bertram Hotel", "The Corpse in the library" and other of her novels, enjoy films made by her works, and you will not find a place where people don't know her name.
