Some people say that friendship is a feeling of mutual liking between two or more people; others add that it is a state when one person understands and supports the other one. To my mind friendship can be compared to a tree. Its seed should find good soil and under good conditions it will grow into a tree. As the years go by the tree stands firmer and firmer on the ground. And if it is strong enough, it will survive all the storms and winds. But to help it, we should take care of it and love it.
Lucky are those people who have friends. I'm happy to have lots of friends, too. Some of them are very close, some are less. But all of them make my life interesting and enjoyable.
The most important feeling that exists between friends is trust. It never appears by itself, it's the result of a long friendship and this feeling is very valuable. Respect and tolerance are also very important; it means that you don't criticize your friend's way of living, but try to understand him, discuss problems with him and explain to him what you think is good and what is bad. As for me, I’m on the same wavelength with Kirill He is my best friend. We made friends nine years ago. People say that he is a very clever and interesting boy. He has an oval face, a straight nose, red hair, brown eyes and a small mouth. Kirill is tall, his gait is light. He has got a well-built figurer and short red hair. His smile is very kind. Kirill is creative, friendly, generous, good natured, patient and serious. He never lies. He respects people, so people respect him.
For me it is very important that he is an honest boy. Whenever a friend is in trouble, he never  fails  to help. I like Kirill for his kindness, love of  life, and cleverness. These traits of his character attract a lot of people. Kirill is very funny and easy-going, he has got a great sense of humor. In general my friend is an interesting person. We spend a lot of time together. Usually we got to the small cafes, shops, libraries and visit our friends. We can talk for many hours about everything (politics, the Net, and girls). We discuss films, TV programmes, computer games and books. It is easy to get along with Kirill. He is fond of sport. He plays football well. It is his hobby. We play football in the same team.  Kirill has a mother, a father and a sister. His mother’s name is Raya Vladimirovna.  She is 42 years old. Kirill's mother is a worker. As for his father, his name is Dmitriy Batykavich. He is a painter. Kirill’s sister’s name is Nastya. She is a student. Without my friend I would feel lonely. Our friendship helps me to feel strong and self – confident. Kirill is a real friend and I think that our friendship will last for a long time.

I am absolutely sure that friendship is one of the most important parts of our lives. A friend is a person who can help us in difficult times, give you advice,  give a helping hand and  just have fun with you when you feel good. But on the other hand  sometimes friends have misunderstandings. And I personaly belive that  only true friends will be able to discuss  problems and find a compromise.     A friend is a person, who wants to make you happy, demanding nothing in replacements.

As we know, friendship is checked by time. We can not say that he was my best friend for one day.

Friendship is a very difficult thing. When people say sweet things about friendship, they lie. I believe true friendship is amazing.
A friend in need is a friend indeed. To find true friends is very hard. Most of them have another friend and you are just one of stupid people for them. They need you when they need your help. When you need help they can help but they don't do it.
When you find true friend for whom you can rely on is awesome But all people have own characters and to communicate with them isn't easy. Sometimes friends quarrel. All people quarrel. Friendship is distinguished by the fact that after a 5-minute quarrel offense can be forgotten.
Friendship is the greatest thing in life.
Euripides said: «One loyal friend is worth ten thousand relatives.»

In my opinion lucky are the people who have real friends. As for me I'm happy to have lots of friends, some of them are close, some are less, but all of them make my life interesting and enjoyable and I can't imagine my life without them, because friendship means very much for me. Being friends means making allowances for the other person's faults, being tolerant to each other moods. The most important thing about friends for me is being able to share secrets, to tell each other your problems and share your worries, to help each other out.
I believe that friendship should be sincere and in my opinion your friend should be attentive to you, he or she should be reliable, honest and he or she should trust you, because, I think, trust is probably the most important feeling that exists between friends, but it never appears by itself, it is the result of a long friendship.

We all have a lot of friends, but they are not always honest with us.It hurts so much when friends betray us, as opposed to the enemies conceal anger, and the enemies always do harm. But if friends don't trust and respect you, you should end up this friendship. If your enemy wants to win,he must respect you. That's why the proverb: ,,False friends are worse than open enemies ''- is a good and  wise proverb.
